During my third year in university, I created a design identity for a reproductive rights campaign. I chose to make this branding with the organization Avow in mind, a reproductive rights advocacy organization from Austin, as I appreciated their approach to educating and advocating for abortion rights in Texas.
For this project, I created agitation material, campaign posters, and solidarity for participants at events.
The goal of this project was to design a campaign while solidifying a visual identity.
Before I designed the event posters, I needed to create awareness of the movement. Agitation is intended to elicit a reaction, increase awareness, and act as a call to action. My agitation consisted of wheat pastes, hanger covers, asphalt art, billboards, and ripped flyers that correlated with different events.

Once the visual identity of the agitation was established, I went on to create event posters. These would contain information about the events taking place, the times, and the locations. These posters contained the central message of the campaign.
Solidarity is meant to create a visual sense of unity for participants and promote a shared purpose. I made buttons and stickers that would be distributed at smaller events. T-shirts, bandanas,  banners, and signs would have been used at bigger, more public events.
